Sisterhood

Temple Sha’arey Shalom’s Sisterhood is a wonderful way to be involved in our Temple community. The Sisterhood is a diverse group of women who come together in friendship, a sense of mitzvot and commitment to the well-being of our Temple and community. We  provide women an opportunity to participate in volunteer work, advocacy, fundraising and educational programs. We meet on the 2nd Monday of every month to plan events that benefit our entire congregation.

Sisterhood sponsors and coordinates Friday night Onegs, holiday refreshments,  and complimentary Sisterhood membership for new members.  Our Shalach Manot project ensures every congregant receives goodies at Purim. 

Additionally, we raise money to support Temple-wide programming throughout the year; which have included selling honey, such activities as Bingo, Girls’ Night Out, game nights and speakers on a variety of topics.

Sisterhood has something for everyone, and Sisterhood needs everyone to do something! Please join us at our next meeting and meet the women of our community.
